Our Commitment to Privacy

This Privacy Policy covers the 2Live apps on both Apple App Store (iOS) and Google Play (Android). We aim to be transparent about how your data is handled. We do not run our own analytics or ad servers — the limited data the apps collect is processed by the third-party partners listed below, mainly to show ads, run analytics, and manage subscriptions. Some features are platform-specific and are noted as such throughout this policy.

Data We Collect

What we DON'T collect

  • Your name, email address, password, or account profile
  • Your precise GPS location
  • Your contacts, photos library, or personal files
  • On iOS, your videos — all video→Live Photo editing happens on-device and is never uploaded

What we (and our partners) DO collect

  • Advertising identifier & advertising data: the Android Advertising ID (on Android) or IDFA (on iOS), via Google AdMob, to show and measure ads. Used for personalized/tracking ads only with your consent (Android: Google UMP / ad personalization settings; iOS: App Tracking Transparency).
  • App & device identifiers: via Firebase and Mixpanel for analytics, and via Adapty + Google Play Billing (Android) or RevenueCat + Apple (iOS) to manage your subscription.
  • Product-interaction data: taps, screen views, downloads, and likes, to understand usage and improve the app (Firebase Analytics, Mixpanel).
  • Purchase data: your subscription / purchase status (Google Play Billing & Adapty on Android; Apple & RevenueCat on iOS). We never receive your card details.
  • Crash & diagnostic data: anonymous crash logs and performance data (Firebase Crashlytics), not linked to your identity.
  • App-integrity signals: to protect our backend from abuse we verify that requests come from a genuine, unmodified app (Play Integrity / Firebase App Check on Android; App Attest on iOS). This does not identify you.
  • Approximate location: estimated from your IP address by our ad and content-delivery partners (not GPS).

Advertising & Tracking

Both apps show ads through Google AdMob. How consent is gathered depends on your platform and region:

  • Android: we use Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP). In the EEA/UK and other regions that require it, you're shown a consent choice before any ads. You can reset or delete your Advertising ID and opt out of ad personalization in Android Settings → Google → Ads.
  • iOS: we ask for your permission with Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt. If you don't allow tracking, you'll see non-personalized (contextual) ads. You can change this in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.
  • EEA/UK users (all platforms): are shown a consent choice (Google UMP) before any ads are served.
  • You can also opt out of in-app analytics in the app's Settings.

On-Device Processing (iOS)

On iOS, 2Live can convert your videos into Live Photo wallpapers, and this is designed with privacy at its core:

  • All video conversion happens locally on your device
  • No videos are uploaded to any server
  • Works completely offline
  • Your video content never leaves your device

Wallpaper Content & Network

Browsable wallpapers are delivered from our content backend through a third-party content delivery network (CDN). Like any network request, this means your IP address is visible to our backend and the CDN. Wallpapers you download are saved to your device's gallery / Photos library. The Android app is a wallpaper browser and does not perform any video conversion.

Cloud Sync (iOS only)

iCloud sync is available on iOS only; the Android app does not use iCloud. If you enable iCloud sync on iOS:

  • Only project metadata is synced (not actual videos)
  • Data is stored in your personal iCloud account and encrypted by Apple
  • Apple's privacy policy applies to iCloud data
  • You can disable sync at any time

Third-Party Services

The apps share data with these processors, each governed by its own privacy policy. Some apply only to a specific platform (noted in brackets):

Your Choices & Rights

  • Android: reset or delete your Advertising ID and opt out of ad personalization in Settings → Google → Ads; change ad consent via the in-app/UMP form; manage or cancel subscriptions in the Google Play Store → Subscriptions.
  • iOS: opt out of ad tracking in Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking; manage or cancel subscriptions in Settings → Apple Account → Subscriptions; disable iCloud sync from the app's Settings.
  • Opt out of in-app analytics in the app's Settings (all platforms).

Data Security & Retention

We do not operate our own analytics or ad servers. The third-party processors listed above store the data they receive under their own policies and retention periods. On-device content stays in your device's secure sandbox; iCloud data (iOS) is encrypted in your personal Apple account.

Children's Privacy

2Live is rated 4+ on the App Store and is intended for users aged 13 and older on Google Play. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.

Premium Features

Subscriptions and one-time purchases are handled by the platform's store:

  • Android: payment is processed by Google Play; subscription state is validated via Adapty. Manage subscriptions in the Google Play Store.
  • iOS: payment is processed by Apple; subscription state is managed via RevenueCat. Manage subscriptions in iOS Settings.
  • We never store your payment information.
  • The platform's and processor's privacy policies apply to transactions.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. We will revise the "Last updated" date and, for significant changes, may notify you in the app.
